How do your gardens grow?

Anything will grow with my daddy's compost! You should use my daddy's special compost recipe to make your garden or lawn thrive. Plants use soil, water, and carbon dioxide from the air to make their food, a process called photosynthesis (where "photo" means light and "synthesis" means putting together).

-
The green pigment in a plant's leaves, called chlorophyll, absorbs the sun’s energy.
-
This energy is used to split water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen.
-
Oxygen is released into the atmosphere—this is the oxygen we breathe!
-
The carbon dioxide from the air, along with hydrogen, is used to create food for the plant.

So, by using my daddy’s compost, watering your garden, and making sure it gets plenty of sunlight, you’re feeding your plants and giving them everything they need to grow!

Soil and Surroundings: How Plants and People Thrive!

Just as soil is the foundation for healthy plants, so too is a positive environment for healthy relationships. Soil provides plants with essential nutrients to grow strong and flourish. When rich in minerals, organic matter, and water, soil supports vibrant, resilient gardens, nourishing each seed as it grows.

People need a similar environment to thrive. When we surround ourselves with kind, positive individuals, we’re better equipped to grow into our best selves. Just like plants absorb the nutrients they need from the soil, we naturally absorb the qualities of those around us. Surrounding ourselves with people who lift us up, who show kindness and support, creates a foundation for growth that’s as strong as the richest soil.

Just as we can improve poor soil or sandy spots with compost and care, we can also nurture and invest in the relationships that help us thrive. So, let's focus on building a garden of friendships that feeds us, uplifts us, and makes us bloom!
